We pay attention to environmental impact and social compatibility
Our breakfast products are organic and/or regional.
We obtain all our meat from the organic butcher’s “Bio-Metzg” in Kirchberg/BE, which guarantees rearing methods and slaughtering protective of animals.
The local farm “Buechihof” in Leuzigen near Solothurn provides us with eggs and fruits. Our cheese comes from farmer Hansueli Schluep from Nennigkofen/SO.
Our hotel obtains district heating from the garbage disposer “KVA” in Zuchwil.
Towels are replaced only on the guests’ request.
We pay our employees a monthly minimal wage of CHF 4000 (basis 100%, 13 monthly wages).
